Making Kabobs is one of my favorite things to make during the summer, but recently I have been preparing kabobs during the cold months also, since I purchased my new Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill. I love preparing meals in this grill, it is easy to use and everything I have prepared in this grill so far has turned out amazing.

These Chicken Kabobs are so flavorful, seasoned chicken and a variety of veggies and sweet chili sauce, makes these kabobs a go to meal anytime of the year. I like to serve my kabobs over a bed of rice and a garden salad to complete the meal. What is great about this recipe is, you can prepare these kabobs and bake them in the oven if you do not have a Ninja Foodi Grill. So, what ever way you decide to cook these kabobs, they will taste great.

You can also get creative with the vegetables, you can use squash, mushrooms and even cherry tomatoes, you can even change the sauce, you can use barbeque sauce, honey mustard sauce, or a sweet and sour sauce, every one of these sauces will make these kababs taste amazing. If you are using the oven instead of a grill, bake the kabobs at about 375F Degrees for about 20-25 minutes, basting them on all sides with the sauce after 15 minutes, then continue cooking for 5-10 minutes so the sauce can glaze on them. View the video and recipe below to see how I made these delicious Chicken Kabobs.

20 Boneless Chicken Breast Strips

1 Red Onion (cut in 1inch pieces)

1 Red Bell Pepper (cut in 1inch pieces)

1 Green Bell Pepper (cut in 1inch pieces)

Wooden Bamboo Skewers (Soaked in water for 3 hours)

1 Jar Sweet Chili Sauce

2 Teaspoons Onion Powder

2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder

2 Teaspoons Salt

1 Teaspoon Black Pepper

1 Teaspoon Cumin

2 Teaspoons Paprika

Wash and cut Chicken in 1-inch cubes and place in a mixing bowl, mix all the seasonings together and pour over chicken mixing well to coat chicken. Using the bamboo Skewers, assemble the kabobs like in my video, chicken, onions, bell peppers and more chicken, continue the pattern using about 4 pieces of chicken per kabob.

Preheat Ninja Grill, Push Grill, Hi, 10 minutes. When grill beeps and displays add food, add kabobs, and cook for 5 minutes, the grill should display, flip food, turn kabobs over and cook another 3 minutes. After 3 minutes glaze kabobs on all side with Sweet Chili Sauce, let cook for another minute then remove kabobs, they are done. Enjoy!
