MOM’S SPAGHETTI




INGREDIENTS


2 1/2 Pounds of Ground Beef

1 Pound Box of Thin Spaghetti

29 ounce Can of Tomato Puree

12 ounce Can of Tomato Paste

2 Cups of Water

1 Green Bell Pepper (Chopped)

1 Onion (Chopped)

8 Cloves of Garlic (Chopped)

2 Packs of McCormick Thick & Zesty Spaghetti Seasonings

2 Teaspoons of Onion Powder

2 Teaspoons of Garlic Powder

2 Teaspoons of Italian Seasonings

1/2 Teaspoon of Ground Red Pepper

3 Tablespoons of Sugar

1 1/2 Teaspoon of Kosher Salt

3 Tablespoons of Parmesan Cheese

2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil (sprinkle over spaghetti after draining so it won’t stick together.




DIRECTIONS


In large pot, add ground beef, cook until lightly browned, then add onion and bell pepper, then add minced garlic cook for 3 more minutes. Add onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, then add kosher salt.


Next add tomato puree, add tomato paste, stir in 1 cup of water, then add the Thick & Zesty spaghetti seasoning, stirring to combine, then add 1 more cup of water. Stir in sugar, and ground red pepper, then add parmesan cheese, mixing well to combine. Turn pot to simmer for 30 minutes.


Cook the Spaghetti per package directions, drain then pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the spaghetti mixing well so the spaghetti won’t stick together. Dip up and Enjoy!
