I am extremely excited about this Meatloaf recipe; I have made Meatloaf for my family for years and this recipe by far is their favorite. The blend of seasonings and eggs paired with the Panko breadcrumbs makes a juicy flavorful meatloaf. Most Meatloaf recipes include milk, but I preferred to use Beef broth instead and that was a great thing to do on my part. The beef broth enhanced the flavor of the meat leaving a very juicy and flavorful creation.
Also, in this recipe I used chopped red onion and minced garlic, so I know you were probably wondering why the onion and garlic powder? Well, I used two pounds of ground meat in this recipe and using the onion and garlic powder boosted the flavor of the fresh onion & minced garlic. I have cooked many of recipes over the years and I found out that using two pounds of any meat in a recipe instead of one pound, some of the flavor of the onion and garlic gets loss and needs a boost to kick it up a notch.
Now, lets talk about the Glaze. This is an amazingly simple glaze that is quick and easy to make, the ketchup paired with the brown sugar and red wine vinegar makes a sweet and tangy sauce that will make your meatloaf the star of the meal. Therefore, I call this Superior Meatloaf. Another thing you can do is double the glaze recipe if you want to spoon some over the meatloaf after you slice it. Please view the recipe and video below to see how easy it is to put this delightful recipe together. Enjoy!
