Some people think that making a Quiche is difficult, but the fact is to turn out a delicious flavorful Quiche is much easier than you may think. A Quiche recipe starts with a pie crust that you can make yourself or buy a store-bought pie crust, but either way it must be pre-baked so the Quiche filling will not make the pie crust soggy.

For the filling you can use any kind of meat that you desire, in my recipe I used bacon, but you can use ham or sausage. Some cooks have been known to use shrimp in their Quiche, or you can just use all vegetables. I like to make my Quiche with onions, red bell pepper for taste and color, and I love mushrooms. I also added cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan, if I has pepper jack cheese on hand, I would have added it also.

The truth is, you can add anything you want to your Quiche, when I made this, I had two slices left and I put them in the fridge and heated them up the next day, it was just as good as the day before. I am not sure how long this will keep in the fridge because my Quiche never last past the next day. But I read that you can freeze them up to 2 months.

Quiche is a dish that can be served for breakfast, brunch, or dinner or when ever you get a taste for it. If you are like me, sometimes I love eating breakfast for dinner. So, give this easy recipe a try. The recipe and video are below, and do not forget to leave a comment. Enjoy!!!

1 Pillsbury Pie Crust (Pre-bake for 10 minutes)

5 Eggs

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper

1/2 Cup of Whole Milk

1/2 Cup of Heavy Cream

1/4 Cup of Fresh Parsley

1/4 Cup Onions

1/4 Cup Red Bell Pepper

1 Cup Fresh Sliced Mushrooms

1/2 Stick of Butter

1/4 Cup of Cheddar Cheese

1/4 Cup of Mozzarella Cheese

1 Tablespoon of Parmesan Cheese

8 Slices of Bacon (cooked and crumbled)

Using 1/4 Teaspoon of the half stick of butter precook vegetables until soft, in medium bowl, mix the eggs, salt, pepper, milk, cream, and parsley, blend well. Add to mixture the mushrooms, onions, pepper and the other 1/4 teaspoon of melted butter and all three cheeses, mix well then stir in the bacon and add mixture to the pre-baked pie crust, bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes.

Pie should be done when a toothpick is entered in the center of pie and it comes out clean, the quiche should be soft and firm. Enjoy!!!
