THE PERFECT QUICHE

Updated: Dec 1, 2022

Some people think that making a Quiche is difficult, but the fact is to turn out a delicious flavorful Quiche is much easier than you may think. A Quiche recipe starts with a pie crust that you can make yourself or buy a store-bought pie crust, but either way it must be pre-baked so the Quiche filling will not make the pie crust soggy.

For the filling you can use any kind of meat that you desire, in my recipe I used bacon, but you can use ham or sausage. Some cooks have been known to use shrimp in their Quiche, or you can just use all vegetables. I like to make my Quiche with onions, red bell pepper for taste and color, and I love mushrooms. I also added cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan, if I has pepper jack cheese on hand, I would have added it also.

The truth is, you can add anything you want to your Quiche, when I made this, I had two slices left and I put them in the fridge and heated them up the next day, it was just as good as the day before. I am not sure how long this will keep in the fridge because my Quiche never last past the next day. But I read that you can freeze them up to 2 months.

Quiche is a dish that can be served for breakfast, brunch, or dinner or when ever you get a taste for it. If you are like me, sometimes I love eating breakfast for dinner. So, give this easy recipe a try. The recipe and video are below, and do not forget to leave a comment. Enjoy!!!
