SHEPHERDS PIE


INGREDIENTS


SHEPHERDS PIE FILLING

1 1/4 Pound Ground Beef

2 Cups of Mixed Vegetables

1 1/2 Cup of Beef Broth

1 Cup of Onion Chopped

3 Cloves of Garlic minced

1 Teaspoon of Dried Parsley

1 Teaspoon of Dried Thyme

1 Teaspoon of Dried Rosemarie

1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce

2 Tablespoons of All-Purpose Flour

2 Tablespoons of Tomato Paste

1 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

1 Tablespoons of Butter


MASHED POTATOES

Package Heat & Serve Mashed Potatoes

1/4 Cup of Parmesan Cheese

3 Tablespoons of Melted Butter

Shredded Cheddar Cheese


DIRECTIONS

Add Butter and Olive Oil and Butter to the skillet, then add Onion and saute’ for about 3 minutes, then add Ground Beef and cook until brown crumbling beef while browning. Add salt, pepper, parsley, thyme, and rosemary, and continue cooking until ground beef is almost brown.

Then add garlic and Worcestershire sauce, then stir in flour and tomato paste, stir well until flour and tomato paste is combined. Next stir in the beef broth, stirring until combine and let cook until the sauce begins to thicken about 4 minutes.

Stir in the mixed vegetables and let cook for 7 minutes. This is a good time to taste to see if you need more seasonings.

Mix Mash Potatoes as directed, add meat mixture to casserole dish and spoon and spread mash potatoes over the top, then sprinkle with

Shredded Cheddar Cheese and bake for 20 minutes at 400F degrees. Enjoy!
