DELICIOUS BEEF POT PIE
INGREDIENTS
3 Sirloin Steaks cut into cubes
2 Pillsbury Pie Crusts
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon Water
1 Cup of Mushrooms
1 Cup of Mixed Vegetables
2 Russet Potatoes Chopped
1 Small Onion Chopped
5 Garlic Cloves Chopped
2 Cups of Beef Broth
2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 Cup of Heavy Cream
1 Stick of Butter
1/3 Cup of Flour
1/2 Teaspoon of Sea Salt
2 Tablespoons of Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon of Onion Powder
1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
DIRECTIONS
Preheat Oven to 375F Degrees
In large Skillet Brown Steak on all sides for 10 minutes. In another skillet add 1 Butter, stir until melted, then add flour and stir until the flour is dissolved, stir in Onions, and Garlic and simmer for about 2-3 minutes until Onions are translucent, stir in Beef Broth and Sour cream, then add vegetables, potatoes and mushrooms, simmer for 3 minutes and add Steak and all of the drippings from the pan.
Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Add filling to bottom crust and spread evenly, then add top crust and fold top and bottom crust edges together like in the video and pinch them together. In a small dish, add egg and 1 tablespoon of water, beat together until combined. Make slits in top of pie crust and brush egg mixture over entire top crust, bake at 375F degrees for 40-45 minutes.
