
INGREDIENTS
6 – 8 APPLES (GRANNY SMITH OR GALA)
2 CUPS OF GRANULATED SUGAR
1 CUP OF WATER
1/2 CUP OF CORN SYRUP
4 OUNCES RED HOTS OR BETTY CROCKER CINNAMON CANDIES
1 Teaspoon RED FOOD COLORING
WOODEN STICKS OR BAMBOO
HOW TO CLEAN WAX FROM APPLES
1 1/2 QUARTS OF HOT WATER
1/4 CUP OF APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
VEGATABLE BRUSH
CLEAN TOWEL
YOU WILL ALSO NEED A SHEET PAN, PARCHMENT PAPER COOKING SPRAY OR BUTTER, OR BOTH.
DIRECTIONS
Clean the wax off of apples using the hot water and apple cider vinegar, as in the video.
Take a sheet pan and grease with cooking spray, line with parchment paper and coat the parchment paper with spray or butter, this is where you would put the apples after you coat them
In medium pot add sugar, water, corn syrup, Red Hots or Cinnamon Candies. Bring to boil, then lower heat to medium and cook for 18 to 20 minutes, then add food coloring and start dipping apples, put on parchment paper until they cool down and the candy hardens. Enjoy!
