PITTSBURGH, PA. TURKEY DEVONSHIRE
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 Pounds Turkey Breast
4 Thick Slices of Bread
12 Slices of Bacon
8 ounces of Cheddar Cheese
8 ounces of Swiss Cheese
8 ounces of Provolone Cheese
1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 Tablespoon Corn Starch + 2 Tablespoons water for slurry
1 Large Tomato Chopped
1 Quart of Heavy Cream
2 Tablespoons of Chopped Parsley for Garnish
Sea Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Paprika
DIRECTIONS
Cook Bacon and set aside.
Toast Bread and set aside
Make Cheese Sauce
In medium saucepan add heavy cream, corn starch slurry, Cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, Provolone cheese, and Parmesan Cheese. Add Salt & Pepper to taste
ASSEMBLE SANDWICH
In single casserole dishes, add Toast, Turkey, Bacon, and Tomatoes. Then pour Cheese Sauce over the sandwich and sprinkle with Paprika, then place under the broiler for at least 3- 3 1/2 minutes until nice and bubbly, sprinkle with Parsley and Serve, Don’t forget the Fork & Knife. Enjoy!
