SHRIMP ALFREDO WITH HOMEMADE SAUCE
INGREDIENTS
SHRIMP SEASONING
2-3 Pounds of Raw Shrimp
1 Tablespoon of Old Bay Seasoning
1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon of Onion Powder
1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon of Sea Salt
ALFREDO SAUCE
1 Stick of Butter
2 Cups of Heavy Cream
1 Cup of Milk
1 Tablespoon of Garlic Paste
6 ounces of Fresh Parmesan Cheese
1- 8-ounce Block of Softened Cream Cheese
Salt & Pepper to taste
Pasta of your choice
Fresh Parsley for garnish
DIRECTIONS
To a medium size bowl add shrimp, garlic powder, onion powder, old bay seasonings, salt and pepper, mix well until all shrimp are coated with the seasonings, set aside.
Next to a medium skillet add 1 tablespoons olive oil, and 2 tablespoons of butter, add shrimp and cook on both sides until pink and puffy, for about 5-6 minutes, remove from skillet.
MAKE ALFREDO SAUCE
To a medium saucepan, melt the stick of butter, add heavy cream, milk, and garlic paste, cook until garlic paste is dissolved.
Add softened cream cheese, parmesan cheese, cook until cheese is melted and sauce begins to thicken. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Finally add shrimp to alfredo sauce and cook for about 3 minutes, garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite pasta.
