APPETIZER MEATBALLS

Updated: Jan 10, 2022

The Holidays are here and when I prepare meals for my family and guest, I always like to have appetizers to keep them busy until the main meal is served. There are many meatball recipes that are prepared using a crockpot and a lot of them use the frozen meatballs, and if that is your preference to use frozen meatballs, then that is ok also, you can use this same recipe for the sauce and use the frozen meatballs instead.

Making meatballs from scratch has its benefits, and one of the benefits are that you can season them the way you want and, you know what’s in them. What I mean by that is some frozen meatballs are mixed with pork, chicken and beef. Overall, homemade is, fresher and just all-around taste better.

The sauce that I prepared for these meatballs is sweet, tangy and delicious. The Sesame Garlic sauce is amazing and paired with the Honey and Dijon Mustard makes this sauce a go to sauce for any occasion. So, guys try this recipe for yourself, view the video and recipe below, I am sure you will agree that this meatball recipe is amazing.

APPETIZER MEATBALLS

INGREDIENTS

2 Pounds of Ground Beef

1 Pack of Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup

1/2 Cup of Panko Breadcrumbs

1/2 Cup of Ketchup

1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

SAUCE FOR MEATBALLS

1 12oz Jar of Sesame Garlic Sauce

3 Tablespoons of Honey

2 Tablespoons of Dijon Mustard

DIRECTIONS

Preheat Oven to 375F Degrees

In large bowl, mix ground beef, onion soup, breadcrumbs, ketchup, and garlic powder, making sure to blend well. Using a tablespoon, or small scoop, roll ground beef into small meatballs and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 375F Degrees for 20-25 minutes, depending on oven.

Remove meatballs from oven, let cool and transfer to a crockpot. Mix Sesame Garlic Sauce, Honey and Dijon Mustard together and pour over meatballs, turn crockpot on high and cook for 1 ½ to 2 hours. Enjoy!
