Tuna Salad with Bowtie Pasta

Updated: Dec 1, 2022

I love this tuna salad recipe, the creamy, savory taste of this tuna pasta salad is sure to please your taste buds. This recipe is extremely easy to make, and this is one of my family's favorite salads. I normally make this salad when I do not feel like cooking a big meal, or when I make wings for game day. You would think that by this being a tuna salad that you would not eat this with chicken, I use to think that too, but when I make this as a side dish beside deep fried chicken wings the salad disappears. I mean who knew?

The way I like to prepare this is to boil my pasta, chop my onions, celery and boil and chop my eggs prior to making this, it saves time, and you will be able to mix this salad up in no time at all. Also, it will keep in the fridge for a 2-3 days and still taste delicious. Here is a fact about Tuna salad. According to Wikipedia, Tuna salad has been eaten for over 100 years. The first written reference to tuna salad in America appeared in 1907, and by 1914 dozens of recipes had been published. So, you see this is an all-time favorite.

The creaminess of the mayo and tender pasta paired with the other ingredients is sure to please, plus it is loaded with tuna. I like to eat this with crackers which allows me to indulge a little. You can serve it as a side dish or for a light lunch alone, there is no right or wrong way to do this. Watch the video below and see how this recipe comes together.
