CHINESE STYLE SHRIMP FRIED RICE



INGREDIENTS

Raw Shrimp (Peeled and Deveined)

4 Cups of Cooked Rice

1 Cup of Peas and Carrot

3 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce

1 Teaspoon of Oyster Sauce

1/2 Teaspoon of Sesame Oil

2 Beaten Eggs

1 Tablespoon of Fresh Ginger (grated)

1/2 Chopped Onion

3 Green Onions Sliced

7 Cloves of Garlic (minced)

1/2 Teaspoon of Turmeric

1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 Teaspoon Salt

Black Pepper to taste

1 Teaspoon of Sugar


DIRECTIONS

Combine, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame Oil, blend together well and set aside. Add to Wok, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of butter, stir together, add vegetables, white onions, garlic, ginger, stir fry about 3 minutes, push veggies to one side and add eggs, scramble lightly, when eggs are done mix together with vegetables and remove from Wok and set aside.


Add 2 tablespoons of oil to Wok, add shrimp, cook until pink on each side about 1 and a half minutes on each side for a total of 3 minutes, remove shrimp and set aside. Add 3 tablespoons of oil to Wok, add rice and turmeric, stir fry for about 5 minutes. Add veggies and shrimp back to Wok and pour sauce over entire dish, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of sugar mix together then add in green onions, stir fry for about 2 minutes, season with more salt and pepper if needed. Enjoy!
