Cornbread is recipe that is quick and easy to make, and it can be served with almost any meal, better yet, you can put some butter in it while it is warm and eat it alone, I know that is the way I do it sometimes. Sometimes when I prepare this recipe, I spoon the batter into muffin pans and make corn muffins, but there is something about making this recipe and just pouring the batter into a Cast Iron Skillet that makes it even more delicious.
When you cook cornbread in a cast iron skillet, the cornbread browns differently and the cornbread comes out with a nice crust around the sides while staying nice and fluffy on the inside, it has a lot to do with how the cast iron skillet contains the heat, so this is the best way to cook cornbread. The recipe only takes a few ingredients that you would have on hand, and it only takes 5 to 7 minutes to whip up and about 20 minutes to cook, so this is a recipe that you can have on your table in no time at all. So, make you some of this sweet, buttery, fluffy Cornbread to go with one of your favorite meals. Enjoy!
