I love barbeque, and I love grilling, but often when I get a taste for barbeque, I do not feel like going through the process of firing up the grill. So, I decided to satisfy my cravings by turning on my oven instead. I had these beautiful Pork Loin Chops and I was trying to figure out how I wanted to prepare them, I thought about frying them, but I recently did that, and I could hear my husband saying, fried pork chops again!

So, I decided to barbeque them in the oven. The way I like to prepare my chops is to sear them off in a pan first, then put them in the oven and glaze them with barbeque sauce. Preparing them like this gives the pork chops a nice brown color and they cook up nice and tender without over cooking them. You can use the barbeque sauce of your choice when preparing this recipe, I like to use a nice sweet sauce, but if you prefer, you can use a mustard sauce instead, either way these chops will come out delicious.

You can have this meal on the table in less than 30 minutes, sear the chops a few minutes on each side about 3-4 minutes until lightly brown, bake for about 10 minutes, sauce one side and let bake to glaze for 5 minutes, then sauce the other side and let glaze for 5 minutes, the end result is a delicious, tender, sweet and sticky, barbeque pork chop. Try these for yourself guys, you are going to love this recipe. Video and Recipe are below.

5-6 Pork Loin Chops

2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

2 Tablespoons of Butter

1 Teaspoon of Onion Powder

1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder

1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper

1 Teaspoon of Seasoning Salt

1 Teaspoon of Paprika

Your Favorite Barbeque Sauce

Preheat Oven to 350F Degrees

Mix all seasonings together, Wash Pork Chops and coat with seasoning mix. Preheat skillet, add Olive Oil and Butter, add Pork Chops and sear on each side for about 3-4 minutes per side until light brown, remove pork chops and place on a baking sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes, remove from oven and brush barbeque sauce on one side, return to oven and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and turn chops over and sauce the other side, return to oven, and bake 5 more minutes, remove chops, they are now done, and the sauce should have glazed on them. Enjoy!
